Product Development Lead for an American E-commerce Company (Remote, Mandarin Required)



TLDR:

We're seeking an experienced Product Development Lead for an American e-commerce company in the sleep industry (full-time, fully remote, Europe/Asia timezone, Mandarin Chinese required).


We are looking for an experienced Product Development Lead with a proven track record of turning ideas into physical products.

You'll oversee the entire product development process and work directly with the company's CEO.

As the Product Development Lead, you are the bridge that connects various departments in the product development process, such as design and manufacturing.


We are an American eCommerce company in the sleep industry, so you'll be working on products such as sleep masks, earplugs, white noise machines, and other sleep accessories.


You must have
business-level English & Mandarin, as our team communicates in English while our suppliers communicate in Mandarin Chinese.

We're looking for an experienced Product Development Lead to help turn product ideas into reality.

We need someone who:

  • Has a
    background in Product Development, Industrial Design, or a similar related profession, and a proven track record of turning ideas into successful products.
  • Demonstrates
    organized leadership in planning, managing, and executing product development projects, even under pressure with multiple projects.
  • Brings at least
    8 years of experience in Product Development, with at least
    2 years in leading projects.
  • Possesses
    expert knowledge of project management

    solid understanding of industrial design, material science, and manufacturing processes

  • Has previous experience working directly with
    manufacturers

  • Is
    businesslevel in both English and Mandarin Chinese (spoken and written).
  • Is resultsoriented, proactive, and demonstrates excellent time management skills.

Product Development

  • Manage project resources, timelines, and budgets effectively.
  • Ensure the various team member's daily tasks and milestones are completed on time and according to expectations.
