Responsibilities:

  • Handling a full set of accounts and assist in the monthend and yearend closing processes by preparing journal entries. Ensure timely and accurate completion of closing activities to meet reporting deadlines.
  • Preparation of financial schedules by performing monthly reconciliations of general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
  • Reconcile bank statements, intercompany accounts, and other financial records.
  • Provide support during the financial reporting process by compiling data, generating reports, and verifying accuracy.
  • Collaborate with auditors and tax agents during internal and external audits/tax enquiries by providing documentation, explanations, and supporting schedules.
  • Liaising with various stakeholders to obtain records and ensure accounting transactions are properly supported with original source documentation.
  • Collaborating and supporting crossfunctional teams' projects
  • Contributing to the development and improvement of financial processes
  • Resolve all queries within the agreed timeline.
  • Handling internal and external queries in a timely manner, if necessary.

Requirements:

  • Prior work experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Accounting knowledge is required.
  • Possess good analytical and communication skill.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Excel and Words.
  • Good written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • High caliber, able to perform task independently, mature, resourceful, and committed to work.
  • Proactive, willing to take up challenges and able to work within tight deadlines with minimum supervision.

Pay:
RM2, RM4,000.00 per month
