The candidate will be accountable for overseeing period end close tasks, managing fixed assets, handling intercompany and bank transactions, reconciling balance sheets, preparing financial and management reports, and providing local statutory and tax assistance.

Description

Guarantee precision and promptness in handling general ledger entries, fixed assets transactions, banking transactions, financial and management reporting, balance sheet reconciliation, and support for local statutory and tax compliance (both direct and indirect) in accordance with the company policies, procedures, and local accounting standards.
* Foster close collaboration with Operating Units (OpCo) Finance to comprehend ongoing activities and ensure accurate reflection in financial statements.
* Cooperate with OpCo to address outstanding aged balance sheet items.
* Monitor and resolve identified outstanding issues regularly, escalating to relevant parties when necessary.
* Communicate with internal and external stakeholders as required.
* Ensure adherence to service level agreements (SLAs) and achieve monthly performance and productivity Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
* Take responsibility for all relevant internal controls associated with Record to Report (RTR) processes.
* Actively engage with team lead/manager to identify, suggest, and implement continuous process improvement opportunities within existing processes.
* Engage in continuous process improvement projects and initiatives.
* Participate in ad hoc activities or projects as needed.

Profile

Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related discipline, and/or hold a professional accounting qualification (such as ACCA/CPA/MIA, etc.).
* Hold a minimum of 4 years of professional experience, with at least 2 years dedicated to managing full set accounts for a Senior Analyst position.
* Demonstrate a minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience in an accounting capacity for an Analyst role.
* Previous exposure to Audit and Tax is considered advantageous.
* Experience working in a multinational corporation (MNC) environment and familiarity with Consolidated Group Accounts will be beneficial.
* Proficiency in utilizing ERP systems is preferred.
