Job Responsibilities:

  • Asst Head Chef prepare, cook and serve food. Assist Head Chef and direct Nilai International School's nutritional team to produce fresh imaginative food in a sevendayperweek operation. To be responsible for proper efficiency and profitable function of the kitchen. To supervise the work of cooks, remaining fair and impartial at all times. To adhere to strict portion control and costing while ensuring food is produced to the highest specification and presentation. To maintain clean and hygienic standards throughout the department, observing all current health and hygiene legislation.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum Diploma/Degree OR at least obtained a professional and relevant certification related to F&B and Culinary Skills;
  • Min 2 years of work experience in F&B environment;
  • Applicants with cooking experience for Preschool Children or cooking for the masses will have an added advantage
  • Familiar with Malaysian/Western/European cuisines;Familiar with food menu for young children;
  • Able to comprehend and communicate in basic English;

Team player and able to work independently.

Pay:
From RM1,500.00 per month

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Education:

  • Malaysian Special Skills Certificate (required)

Experience:

  • Kitchen experience: 2 years (required)
Expected Start Date: 07/01/2024
