Bangsar South, Malaysia Global Trade Capital (GTC) Full time

As a Business Development Manager specializing in Forex, your primary focus will be to expand the company's client base, particularly by acquiring more Introducing Brokers (IBs) and retail traders.

Leveraging tools like Lark Suite, Salesforce and social media platforms like LinkedIn, you'll be responsible for driving business growth through phone calls, events and online outreach.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identify and engage potential clients, including IBs and retail traders, via own leads or leads from marketing team using Salesforce and LinkedIn to onboard them onto the company's Forex trading platform. Knowledge of Salesfoce will be useful.
  • Stay abreast of global financial market trends and currency exchange dynamics. Utilize this knowledge to spot potential trading opportunities and share them with your potential prospects.
  • Cultivate and nurture strong relationships with existing clients, IBs, and other key stakeholders, enhancing client loyalty and retention.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the company's Forex trading products, services, and trading platforms. Articulate their benefits persuasively to potential clients.
  • Ensure all client acquisition activities comply with relevant regulations and company policies, including strict adherence to antimoney laundering (AML) and knowyourcustomer (KYC) procedures.
  • Keep meticulous records of client interactions, sales activities, and revenue generated. Provide regular, detailed reports to management.
  • Analyze market trends and monitor competitor activities to identify opportunities for business growth and continuous improvement.

QUALIFICATION

  • A bachelor's degree in finance, business, economics, or a related field. (A master's degree may be preferred.)
  • A proven track record of at least 3 years in sales or business development within the Forex or financial services industry.
  • Indepth knowledge of Forex markets, trading strategies, and financial instruments.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, enabling the development of strong client relationships.
  • Comprehensive understanding of financial regulations and compliance standards within the Forex industry.
  • Excellent analytical and problemsolving abilities.
  • Proficiency in using trading platforms and financial software.
  • Selfmotivated and resultsoriented with a strong determination to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Willingness to travel and actively participate in industry events and conferences as required to foster business growth.
