JOB PURPOSE
Responsible for the maintenance and general upkeep of equipment and facilities.

Implementing preventative maintenance, liaising with service providers, performing regular inspections of equipment and supplies, and diagnosing and fixing any faults on machinery.

Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, building codes, and health and safety standards. Preparing reports and compliance documentation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Implement and execute maintenance tasks as per assigned by Facilities Engineer.
  • Supervise and monitor relevant vendors and service providers.
  • Ensuring quality control standards are consistently met.
  • Keeping track of supply and material inventories.
  • Purchasing any equipment, tools, or materials that may be required.
  • Updating maintenance checklist and log sheets.
  • Ensuring basic tools and machinery are in working order by performing regular inspections.
  • Assessing procedures and making recommendations for improvement.
  • Commit to work on rotational shift basis
  • Commit to work long hours, on weekends, public holidays

REQUIREMENTS

  • At least one (1) year of work experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Ability to work hands on.
  • Working knowledge of all "trade" categories, including, but not limited to Electrical, Mechanical, HVAC and Temperature controls systems
  • Proven ability to read and comprehend complex electrical, mechanical system, react quickly and can convey information to other facilities team under pressure situations.
  • Capability to effectively supervise and manage vendors during maintenance and repairs/troubleshooting.

Salary:
RM1, RM2,500.00 per month

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Rotational shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Bukit Jelutong: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Education:

  • Diploma/Advanced Diploma (preferred)
