Qra is a start-up neighborhood grocer with a mission to make eating well and living well more accessible to the communities we serve.

As we are expanding, we are seeking for an individual to oversee and project manage our new store openings as well as existing store maintenance.

Reporting to the CEO, you will be responsible to plan, manage, co-ordinate, renovation/fit-out activities for both new and existing stores.

Being a start-up you can expect your days to be pretty varied. Multitasking is normal, and occasionally, your skills or natural talents will be leveraged to support other business priorities.

Main

Responsibilities:

Project management and documentation

  • Managing project timelines, budgets, layout, and plans
  • Prepare and maintain construction work schedule.
  • Coordination of internal resources and vendors
  • Develop detailed design and construction specification and standards.
  • Prepare all necessary documents for the tendering process on selection of contractors.
  • Review and approve all drawing submissions prior to work commencement.
  • Ensure construction detailing, methodology meets design objective.
  • Oversee and review contractor progress report to ensure construction is aligned with schedule.
  • Working with HQ and operation team to align store fitout and opening schedule.
  • Prepare project cost estimation (CAPEX).
Facilities Management

  • Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of all outlets to ensure they are always in top condition.
  • Implement preventive maintenance programs and address any issues related to the physical infrastructure of the stores promptly.
Store Design

  • Working closely with ID and consultants.
  • Coordinate with various department to ensure store layout and design is accordance with category planning and brand's strategic goals.
  • Research and analyze variety of products, material, finishing, lighting and detailing to enhance the overall quality of the completed work with cost efficiency.
  • Develop or improve store design and concepts.
Construction and Quality Control

  • Working closely with consultant to ensure contractor does not deviate from design objective and details.
  • Develop defect list with contractor and consultant. Ensure all defects is being completed with report.
  • Execute and oversee new fixture roll out.

; Requirements:

  • Qualifications and Work Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in store expansion and familiarity with developing FMCG/retail market.
  • Diploma or bachelor's degree in business studies, Administration or similar fields would be an added advantage.
  • Fluent in English and Malay language.
  • Able to start on a short notice be an added advantage.
  • Possess a valid driving license.
  • Project management experience in retail fit out project with the ability to work under pressure and time constraint.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Good understanding of a variety of interior design material, finishing, lighting, details, etc.
  • Ability to operate AutoCad and understanding of construction drawing.
  • Must be willing to work at Bukit Damansara.
