ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Position: Chief Executive Officer( CEO)

Reporting to: Group Managing Director

No of Subordinates: 8

Employment type Permanent

Company Name : Regional Retail Company with HQ in Malaysia and presence in Singapore(If you are

selected so disclose the company details )

SUMMARY OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. You will report to the Chairman/Group MD and will be responsible for the revenue,

operations & profitability of the subsidiary that you will be heading and any other

duties as the Chairman/Group MD may reasonably require of you;

2. You are expected to optimize the companies' performance by providing leadership to the

various operational functions such as client servicing (sales), marketing, operations which

include recruitment and training, office administration, personnel and finance. You are also

expected to ensure quality standards, to enhance operational efficiencies generally, and to

strengthen the relationship with business partners and customers, and to expand the

business further;

3. You will meet and expand a network of customers including but not exhaustive to FMCG,

Telco, Consumer Electronics, Health & Beauty, Distributors and Retailers;

4. You may be involved in corporate actions such as M&A (mergers and acquisitions),

Diversification to expand the business;

5. You will be responsible to:

I. Employ staff of the right calibre and training of these staff in all aspects of the

Company's operation and management to run and manage the Company

competently and efficiently;

II. Collaborate closely with Finance & HR department to efficiently manage the

operations of the company;

III. Manage and be accountable for the performance of the Company;

IV. Prepare monthly meetings and other scheduled reports to the Chairman/Group

MD at the stipulated time and include but not limited to budgets & forecasts,

sales, marketing and operational plans;

V. Continuously plan and execute sales, marketing and operational objectives;

identify new areas of increased profit- potential and business growth; formulate,

develop and implement overall marketing, sales, operations policies and plans to

realize company's objectives.

VI. Drive innovation in Information Technology to incorporate usage into business

operations and services to provide a competing edge to the Company.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education, Professional

Qualification

A bachelor's degree is required, with minimum 5-years'

experience in a senior management position.

Work Experience Minimum years work experience in FMCG

or Distributor company, developing teams to

achieve sales and operational excellence.

Language Proficiency English. Conversational with Mandarin & Bahasa Malaysia

The CEO is a strategic, systems thinker who is customer-focused

and goal driven. This individual identifies relevant information

and helps transform this information into individual and

organizational knowledge and learning. The CEO should be

action oriented and innovative. He/she translates broad goals

into achievable steps. He/she anticipates and solves problems

and takes advantage of opportunities, is a self-starter and team

player.

• High integrity, self-motivated, performance driven, and

an entrepreneurial flair would be crucial for success in

this role.


• Able to lead a team towards proper execution of

strategies and plans in realizing organizational

objectives.

Experience: Mainly from FMCG, Retails, Merchandising, Sales & Distribution Background
