Manage Sub-contract & OEM projects including sourcing suitable suppliers, price negotiation and contract management according to the Company policy and guideline.

Work with Marketing and Technical Business Development function to follow and monitor the projects. Develop alternative suppliers to enhance both market and price competition and product efficiency.

  • Purchasing Strategy - Establish and improve purchasing strategy to ensure stable supply of material at competitive price. Formulate effective contingency plan on the alternative source of supply for the core materials to guarantee production continuity.
  • Suppliers Management - Managing pool of approved suppliers for on time in full delivery, good service level & competitive pricing.
  • Perform analysis to pursue cost savings project and procurement opportunities on direct materials and indirect materials.
  • Purchasing Operations - Ensure purchasing activities are accordance to procedure and internal customer requirement. Responsible in updating all ISO related documents.
  • Involve in New Product Development & promotion projects.
  • Maintain related purchasing master data.
  • Prepare forecast to suppliers for their production planning purposes.

Education & Experience: -_

  • University Degree Holder in Business Studies/Supply Value Chain/Management. Education in Food Science is added advantage.

Minimum 5 years of working experience from food manufacturing/ trading environment/ supply chain.

Operation experience in managing OEM and contract manufacturing projects is preferably 1-2 years' experience.

  • Strong at Cost management and Performance metrics tracking and reporting.

Salary:
RM9, RM10,000.00 per month
