The Asset Reliability Manager is accountable for developing and implementing maintenance strategies to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime across the entire regional operation.

Key Responsibilities

You will:

  • Develop and coordinate maintenance plans to improve equipment performance, reliability, and lower overall maintenance costs.
  • Implement corporate maintenance programs based on best practices in the FMGC industry, with an emphasis on equipment criticality, time-based maintenance & condition-based maintenance, effective planning and scheduling, completing high-quality maintenance repairs, and safety, health & environmental policies and procedures.
  • Lead the implementation of Progressive Maintenance (PM) programs to ensure consistent methodology implementation.
  • Analyze operational data and equipment performance history to deliver improvements in critical maintenance-related metrics, including unplanned downtime, PM compliance, schedule compliance, Mean-Time-Between-Failures, and maintenance-related costs.
  • Institutionalize the use of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track maintenance activities within plants for tracking work orders, planned/predictive maintenance, spare parts inventory/sharing, and MRO management.
  • Implement best practices for MRO inventory management to reduce inventory value and increase turns.
  • Partner with HR to develop criteria, testing protocols, and partnerships to accelerate the identification and hiring of highly skilled maintenance associates.
  • Develop and deliver comprehensive maintenance and reliability tactical training to maintenance resources; conduct workshops, benchmarking trips, and effectively measure results tied to activities that enhance the plant's asset reliability.
  • Conduct internal PM assessments to ensure program integrity and compliance with IL6S phases requirements.
  • Lead works with global counterparts from each of the regions to establish global pillar standards and expand knowledge through the creation of PM content.
  • Support plant teams to improve line reliability to reduce breakdowns and increase line GE performance.
  • Lead projects like Hercules MRO Optimization project deployment and change management for the region to achieve successful project go-live.
Requirements

  • Robust plan to support plant IL6S PM Step Progression and capability building in 34 internal manufacturing plants in AMEA.
  • Breakdown reduction to support GE improvement >85%.
  • Roll-out strategies for maintenance cost optimizations (~USD 116 MM p.a. AC'23) and lower spare part procurement costs (~USD 60MM p.a.).
  • Achieve Project Hercules savings in AMEA (ACT'23 was USD USD 1.6 MM in 2024).
About This Role
  • Years of experience within Maintenance and Engineering managerial roles.
  • Proven TPM expertise and PM (Progressive Maintenance) full implementation.
  • Experience leading a plant maintenance organization within the FMGC industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to function effectively in fluid, fast-paced situations, with the personal leadership to influence and positively motivate self and peers.
  • Strong working knowledge of CMMS (computerized maintenance management system) like SAP PM - SAP MM.
  • Experience with FMEA (failure mode effect & analysis), RCM (reliability-centered maintenance), and MRO management.
  • Verbal and written English skills to regularly work within a regional and global PM teams.
  • Experience in leading and deploying large-scale projects across multiple plants.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field required. Specialization course or MBA in Maintenance Engineering, Project Management, or TPM/Lean is a plus.
