Tasks and duties

Removing damaged glass, moulds, seals and trim from window frames in vehicles. Installing and fitting glass (either pre-shaped or cut with a template) according to manufacturer's instructions. Undertaking safety assurance measures to ensure windscreen, side and rear glass is safe and secure.

Auto Glass Technician Responsibilities:

  • Repair damaged windows and windshields
  • Install new windows and windshields
  • Weatherproof windows and windshields to prepare them to stand up to harsh weather
  • Provide estimates to customers
  • Use a variety of tools to complete repairs as efficiently as possible
  • Provide excellent customer service and demonstrate professionalism at all times

Auto Glass Technician Requirements:

  • High school or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a similar role is strongly preferred
  • Advanced knowledge of modern auto glass
  • Ability to work well in a team setting
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • No experiences but fast learner

Salary:
RM1, RM2,800.00 per month

Supplemental pay types:

  • Overtime pay
  • Yearly bonus

Ability to Commute:

  • Melaka City (required)

Ability to Relocate:

  • Melaka City: Relocate with an employer provided relocation package (required)
