Reports To:

  • Assistant Manager, Security, Claims & Loss Prevention

Role Purpose:

  • This position is accountable to operationalize, organize, coordinate and administer the endtoend administration and governance of employee related processes by diligently adhering to company policies, procedures, and statutory mandates to ensure sound governance is always uphold and to ensure the accuracy and confidentiality of employee's database. This role is also accountable to drive process improvement and innovation at workplace to continuously improve the service delivery and employee experience.

Key Accountability:

  • Responsible for MAB Kargo Security operations at KUL and stations
  • Assist to plan, develop, organize and manage security related activities, provide comprehensive reports and/or provide security solutions acceptable to MABKargo Management and also to the industry requirements.
  • Assist to recommend security measures to control/minimize loss due to mishandle of cargo which may lead to other security and / or procedural breaches.
  • Ensure MAB Kargo operations are in compliance with the Malaysia Airlines Security Programme (MASP), corporate security policy and National Civil Aviation Security Programme (NCASP).
  • Assist to promote close liaison with government, enforcement agencies, industry players and the regulatory authorities.
  • Assist to disseminate and maintained cargo security related manuals, policies, procedures and standards to all business units within MAB Kargo KUL and Stations.
  • Conducting all cargo security auditing related activities within MAB Kargo network.
  • Assist to carry out risk assessment when the need arises to protect MAB Kargo operations for any noncompliance.
  • Assist to provide investigation reports for alleged cargo/mails pilferage, lost, to meet customer's expectation with corrective actions.
  • Responsible for Cargo Claims processes within the International Standard practices and regulations.
  • Assist to evaluate, verify, checks, cargo claims, refunds documentations to ensure non fraudulent claims submitted and process.

Qualification & Experience:

  • Degree or Higher tertiary qualification in Aviation Security / Cargo Security fields.
  • Special / Professional Certificate ; ICAO Air Cargo and Mail Security
  • Years of Experience : Minimum of 10 years' experience in air cargo security within an airline, regulatory body and international organization

Areas of Experience:

  • Aviation Security/Cargo Security within an Airline/Regulatory body

Personality Traits:

  • Proven influencing and communications skills, including strong public speaking capabilities as well as the ability to generate concise and detailed written reports
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
  • Ability to conduct investigation and detailed report writing skills.
