The Personal Assistant to the Managing Director cum Corporate Communications Manager plays a pivotal role in supporting the Managing Director and managing corporate communication initiatives within the organization. This position requires a highly organized, proactive, and resourceful individual who can balance administrative duties and communications responsibilities effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Administrative Support:
- Manage the Managing Director's calendar, appointments, and travel arrangements.
- Prepare documents, reports, and presentations for meetings and business activities.
- Handle confidential information with discretion and maintain a high level of professionalism.
Corporate Communications:
- Develop and implement corporate communication strategies and plans in alignment with the organization's objectives.
- Create and edit content for various communication channels, including press releases, newsletters, social media, and the company website.
- Maintain and update the organization's internal and external communications materials.
- Monitor and analyze media coverage, industry trends, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and risks.
- Act as a liaison between the Managing Director and the communications team, ensuring that communication initiatives are in line with the company's vision and goals.
Event Coordination:
- Plan and coordinate corporate events, such as conferences, seminars, and product launches.
- Ensure seamless logistics for events, including venue selection, catering, and audiovisual arrangements.
- Collaborate with external vendors and partners to execute successful events.
Stakeholder Relations:
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including media, investors, clients, and employees.
- Address inquiries, requests, and concerns from stakeholders promptly and professionally.
- Assist in preparing the Managing Director for meetings and interactions with stakeholders.
Project Management:
- Manage and oversee special projects and initiatives assigned by the Managing Director or related to corporate communication.
- Monitor project timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure successful completion.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree/ Diploma in communications, business administration, or a related field.
- Previous experience as a personal assistant or in a corporate communications role is preferred.
- Excellent communication and writing skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency in using communication tools, office software, and project management software.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fastpaced environment.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to work with diverse stakeholders.
- Discretion and the ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
- Problemsolving and critical thinking abilities.
The Personal Assistant to the Managing Director cum Corporate Communications Manager plays a crucial part in supporting the organization's leadership and enhancing its corporate image through effective communication strategies.
Salary:
RM5, RM6,500.00 per month
