ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare and coordinate with Contract Manager of the site budget review (if any).
  • Sourcing and select the best purchase in term of quantity, price, terms, deliveries and services of supplier.
  • Monitor and updating Delivery Order (DO), PO and Debit Notes (DN) into Procurement system.
  • Collecting the market trend and the conditions for the present and future price, availability and lead time and capacity of goods and services.
  • Build and develop good relationship with suppliers / manufacturers.
  • Coordinate with Finance Department in matching of DO with Invoices.
  • Manage suppliers to meet objectives related to cost, delivery performance, schedule and quality and negotiate with suppliers on leadtime, cost and quality so as to obtain the maximum benefit for the company.
  • Develop purchasing or sourcing strategies based on portfolio analyses and supplier preferencing study.
  • Develop, implement and drive the procurement strategies in order to meet cost savings targets.
  • Perform regular performance review with suppliers to drive continuous improvements.
  • Liaise with suppliers on delivery schedule so as to ensure ontime deliveries of final product.
  • Review and manage the supplier base to ensure consistency with the sourcing strategy.
  • Create monthly performance reviews and reports focusing on overall sourcing requirements.
  • Adopt appropriate supplier management methodologies and procurement strategies in purchasing to secure better prices.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveyor C&S or related experience;.
  • Minimum five (5) years' experience in procurement for engineering construction & Structure (C&S) industry;
  • Familiar with suppliers in construction & structure Industry.
  • Selfmotivated, reliable, minimum supervision, good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good interpersonal, organizational, communication, and negotiation skills
