Create and monitor a system of controls, procedures, and forms for the recordation of fixed assets.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Create capital appropriation order number
  • Create internal order number for asset purchase, to ensure all documents are complete before issuing an internal order number.
  • Follow up open internal order number if they have meet capitalization's criteria or if they has aged more than 6 months.
  • Assets Capitalization and depreciation
  • Review capital expenditure with requestors to ensure CIP is placed into service timely
  • Post monthly assets depreciation.
  • Assets disposal and transfer
  • Record asset retirement and ensure appropriate documentation is complete and the appropriate approval is obtained
  • Record intercompany / Intracompany asset transfer and ensure appropriate documentation is complete
  • Prepare monthly reporting for the management
  • Fixed asset & Deposit testing (quarterly)
  • Analysis the balance sheet fluctuation, for fixed assets.
  • Preparation and distribution of Asset tag
  • Ensure fixed asset controls and processes are compliance with SOX and policy.
  • Prepare monthly fixed asset reconciliations.
  • Performed asset validation on yearly basis
  • Liaise with auditors and provide information requested by internal and external auditors.
  • Any adhoc request
PREFRRED QUALIFICATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Preferable in fixed asset accounting exposure.
  • Minimum 3 years professional accounting/finance experience in multinational company
  • Must have strong work ethics
  • Must be well organized and a selfstarter
  • Must be able to follow standard filing procedures
  • Detail oriented, professional attitude, reliable
  • Proficient in SAP system & manufacturing background experience is a plus
  • Possess strong organizational and time management skills
  • Strong problem solving skills, basic accounting principles knowledge, documentation skills, research and resolution skills, data analysis and multitasking skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
  • Ability to work independently and with a team in a fastpaced and high volume environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness
