Job Description:

Responsible for selling complex technical products and/or services.

This would typically be a limited number of the company's products, typically a technology or those that are strategic in nature.

Typically specializes in a single product or product line and carries an overlay quota.

Generally, not account-assigned; called into accounts as opportunities are identified and may work with account-assigned sales account managers to close sale.

May manage and coordinate the sales and technical team in support of the sale of the company's products.

May also be called on as a technical product expert to develop and present sales proposals and systems solutions, and close complex technical sales.

Advanced professional leading medium to large projects or working on complex or high-profile issues that require a broad perspective, conceptual thinking, and in-depth analysis to identify solutions.

May also lead a process or function without direct reports.

Demonstrates a depth and breadth of expertise within a discipline, and has a deep understanding of the business, financials, products/services, or market.

Develops policies and procedures, and recommends best practices. Advises and provides direction to more junior professionals.

Job Description:

  • Proactively Manage marketing operation and Sales target for Trading Solutions business.
  • Develop marketing plans and pricing strategies.
  • Work with and under the direction of senior sales/marketing resources to drive pipeline and lead generation.
  • Develop marketing budget, monitor, and control.
  • Determine new opportunities by analyzing business needs.
  • Develop new business relationships, generate, and negotiate new income for SS&C to an agreed annual target of invoiced revenue.
  • Work closely with delivery functions in ensuring successful execution of projects, allowing complete tracking of the engagement against business parameters set.
  • Develop and maintain a good relationship with Senior Management, president, and CEO of all clients (Securities business, the Stock Exchange of Thailand, the Thailand Futures Exchange, and related parties.
  • Forecast long and shortrange market potential in Thailand.
  • Lead the sales process to a successful conclusion.
  • Develop the corporate brand strategy.
  • Participate in local community networking groups to establish SS&C's market presence which will lead to future business opportunities.
  • Provide management with summarized report so as to keep them informed of overall business development activities.
  • Learn and understand the customer's current environment by asking questions to uncover current technology needs and challenges.
  • Qualify prospective customers to ensure that SS&C can meet their requirements and provide meaningful benefit and value.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with at least 6 years in selling high value solutions, preferably from the Financial Services industry.
  • Have a proven track record in meeting and exceeding revenue quotas in a solution sales role.
  • Significant experience of financial markets, the SET and broker/dealer operations would be an advantage.
  • A proactive, selfstarter, organized, able to operate with mínimal supervisory and capable of driving large complex deals to a successful close.
  • Good command of spoken and written English.
