Director of Sales and Client Relations (KL)
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.**
Job location: 50300 Kuala Lumpur
Working hours:
MON-FRI 9AM - 6PM, PH OFF
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue targets and drive business growth.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and lead generation activities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decisionmakers and stakeholders within target client organizations.
- Lead the sales team, providing guidance, coaching, and support to help them achieve their sales goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with internal departments, including operations, quality assurance and finance, to ensure alignment of sales activities with overall business objectives.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation.
- Prepare and present sales proposals, presentations, and contracts to prospective clients, negotiating terms and pricing as needed.
- Monitor and analyse sales performance metrics, pipeline activity, and market trends to inform strategic decisionmaking and resource allocation.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and service level by delivering exceptional service and addressing client needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, managing ongoing relationships and proactively identifying opportunities to add value and meet their evolving needs.
- Collaborate with the operations team to ensure seamless delivery of services and resolve any issues or challenges that may arise within expected service level.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing strategic guidance and recommendations to optimize their travel programs and achieve their business objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 810 years of experience in sales leadership roles within the corporate travel industry, with a proven track record of driving revenue growth and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong understanding of corporate travel management processes, trends, and best practices.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a sales team to achieve results.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts and solutions to clients and stakeholders.
- Strategic thinker with a proactive and resultsoriented approach to sales and business development.
- Ability to thrive in a fastpaced and dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and stakeholders effectively.
- Proficiency in CRM software and sales productivity tools.
- Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings, industry events, and sales activities.
