ACCOUNTING MANAGER
We are looking for an Accounting Manager to supervise, track and evaluate day-to-day activities. Accounting Manager responsibilities include establishing financial status by developing and implementing systems for collecting, analyzing, verifying and reporting information. We are also looking for someone to work closely with our Director to manage the Accounts Department.

Job Scope

  • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department including:
  • month and end-year documents & reports; treasury; budgeting; cash forecasting
- full set of accounts; accounts payable/receivable; cash receipts; general ledger; bank reconciliation; fixed asset activity; salaries; income taxes
- payroll and utilities
- revenue and expenditure variance analysis
- check runs & debt activity

  • Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements including coordinating & completing annual audits
  • Liaise with auditors, bankers, suppliers (relating to payments) and accounting software provider (training, technical support & software related issues)
  • Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principles
  • Provide recommendations on methods; improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions
  • Meet financial accounting objectives
  • Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions.
  • Any other duties as and when required.

Requirements:

  • BS degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Proven 3 to 4 years working experience as Accounting Manager, Accounting Supervisor or Finance Manager
  • Advanced computer skills on MS Office, & databases and Google (Drive, Sheet, Doc, etc)
  • Knowledge of ABSS (MYOB) accounting software is an added advantage
  • Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, taxes, laws and regulations
  • High attention to detail and accuracy and ability to work in a fastpaced environment and extended periods.
  • Strong time keeping & organizational skills; effective communication skills; positive attitude; good team player and able to work independently.
  • Have the ability to direct & supervise with an effective & positive attitude; dedicated; committed and able to work under pressure.
  • Strong ethics with ability to manage highly confidential data
  • Must be proficient in English & Malay both spoken & written.
  • Proficient in Mandarin both spoken & written is an added advantage.

RM4, RM5,500.00 per month

Schedule:
