The Senior Accounting Executive would need to be able to track, record and evaluate day-to-day activities. The Senior Accounting Executive’s responsibilities include establishing financial status by developing and implementing systems for collecting, analyzing, verifying and reporting information. He / She will be working closely with our director to manage the daily Accounts tasks.

**Job Scope**
- Manage the daily operations of the accounting for group of companies including:

- month and end-year documents & reports; treasury; budgeting; cash forecasting
- full set of accounts; accounts payable/receivable; cash receipts; general ledger; bank reconciliation; fixed asset activity; salaries; income taxes
- payroll and utilities
- check runs & debt activity
- Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements including coordinating & completing annual audits
- Liaise with auditors, bankers, suppliers (relating to payments) and accounting software provider (training, technical support & software related issues)
- Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principles
- Provide recommendations on methods; improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions
- Meet financial accounting objectives
- Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions.
- Any other duties as and when required.

**Requirements**:

- BS degree in Accounting or Finance
- Proven 3 to 4 years working experience as Accounting Executive or Accounting Supervisor
- Advanced computer skills on MS Office, & databases and Google (Drive, Sheet, Doc, etc)
- Knowledge of ABSS (MYOB) accounting software is an added advantage
- Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, taxes, laws and regulations
- High attention to detail and accuracy and ability to work in a fast-paced environment and extended periods.
- Strong time keeping & organizational skills; effective communication skills; positive attitude; good team player and able to work independently.
- Have the ability to direct & supervise with an effective & positive attitude; dedicated; committed and able to work under pressure.
- Strong ethics with ability to manage highly confidential data
- Must be proficient in English & Malay both spoken & written.
- Proficient in Mandarin both spoken & written is an added advantage.
