Costing Assistant

Position Overview:
As a Costing Assistant at Overland, you'll be instrumental in ensuring efficient financial operations by managing supplier documents for month-end closing.
You'll work closely with intercompany teams locally and in Thailand to coordinate billing and maintain accurate supplier data based on current quotations.
Your responsibilities will include validating supplier invoices, supporting month-end cost verification, generating reports, and reconciling revenue and cost data with financial statements.
This role offers a hands-on opportunity to contribute to critical financial processes and gain valuable experience in financial reporting and analysis.
Responsibility and Authority
- Follow up all supporting documents from supplier to meet month end closing deadline.
- Work closely with intercompany person in charge (Local & Thailand) for the intercompany billing.
- Maintaining supplier master data and to ensure the price maintained are in accordance with the latest quotation.
- Validate supplier invoice such as price, route and other ad hoc charges.
- Support the month end closing for cost verification.
- Generate ODT report and review the accuracy of the report.
- Reconciliation of Revenue & Cost with ODT & finance SOA.
- Support superior any ad hoc task from time to time.
Minimum Requirements
- At least 1 year of working experience in a related field.
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Capable of multitasks.
- Good command in Mandarin, Malay and English.
- Proficient excellent computer skills in MS office (especially Excel).
- Possess own transportation.
