As a Human Resource Partner specializing in South East Asia, you will play a critical role in aligning human resources strategies with business objectives.

You will act as a trusted advisor to both employees and management, fostering a positive workplace culture, and ensuring compliance with regional employment laws and regulations.

This role requires a deep understanding of the local business landscape and cultural nuances, as well as the ability to implement HR best practices that contribute to organizational success.


Responsibilities:

Strategic HR Planning:

  • Collaborate with regional and global HR teams to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Analyse regional workforce trends, competition, and industry benchmarks to inform HR
initiatives.

Talent Acquisition and Onboarding:

  • Support recruitment efforts, partnering with hiring managers and talent acquisition team to attract, select, and onboard top talent.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local universities, recruitment agencies, and
industry networks.

Employee Relations:

  • Conduct investigations and provide guidance on employee relations matters, fostering a positive work environment.

Performance Management:

  • Implement performance management processes, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and development plans.
  • Provide guidance to managers on addressing performance issues and recognizing highperforming employees.

Learning and Development:

  • Identify training needs and collaborate with HR and business leaders to implement development programs.
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning and skill development to enhance employee capabilities.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Partner with global compensation teams to ensure competitive and equitable compensation practices.
  • Stay informed about local market trends to provide recommendations on salary and
benefits adjustments.

Compliance and Legal:

  • Stay abreast of regional employment laws and regulations, ensuring company
  • Compliance.
  • Provide guidance on HR policies and procedures, and manage local labor relations.

HR Analytics:

  • Utilize HR analytics to measure and report on key HR metrics, making datadriven recommendations for improvement.
  • Monitor workforce trends to anticipate and address potential issues proactively.

Operations and Systems:

  • Update the internal systems to ensure internal compliance.
  • Vendor identification and management to ensure optimal utilisation of existing systems.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 7+ years of HR experience, with a focus on South East Asia.
  • Indepth knowledge of regional employment laws and cultural dynamics.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in talent Management, employee relations, and performance management.
  • Ability to navigate complex organizational structures and work collaboratively with diverse teams.
  • Experience in the education industry

Location:

This position is based in Ho Chi Minh - Vietnam or Malaysia and may require occasional travel within the region.
