Job Description

Huntsman Global Business Services is seeking a dynamic individual to fill the role of Human Resources Business Partner - NESEA Region. As a key member of the HR team, you will be responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management in designated business units/sites.

The ideal candidate will be located in a region that spans across multiple countries, including Singapore, Thailand, Japan, Korea, Indonesia, Vietnam, and Taiwan. You will be working closely with the HR COEs & HR Shared Services Centre to ensure policies and programs support business initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation to employees and managers, ensuring compliance with HR policies and processes.
  2. Provide inputs and guidance related to day-to-day management of employees, workforce planning, and ensure regulatory compliance.
  3. Provide performance management guidance to leaders and associates, and provide necessary coaching and training.
  4. Partner with management on employee engagement by promoting a sense of purpose and belonging.
  5. Design, lead, drive, and participate in HR programs and initiatives in line with the business strategy.
  6. Lead talent review meetings to develop talents and support managers on career conversations.
  7. Work closely with HR COEs & HR Shared Services Centre to ensure policies and programs support business initiatives.
  8. Lead annual manpower budgeting and bridging analysis with divisional Finance.
  9. Lead merit review and bonus process and support communication.
  10. Lead Workday data audit and HR reporting/dashboards.
  11. Perform other related duties or projects as assigned.

Requirements:

  • University degree or above.
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant work experience as an HR practitioner, experience in business partnering is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of multiple HR disciplines, including compensation practices, talent and performance management, learning & development, and employment laws.
  • Good influencing and communication skills in both English and Mandarin.
  • Self-motivated, curious about new things, and passionate about HR work.
  • Able to work independently.
