Position Overview

Our client, a prominent player in the regional trust industry with a track record of over 30 years in Malaysia, Labuan, and Singapore, is in search of a highly professional and motivated individual. The role entails significant interaction with clients, regulators, and stakeholders to enhance services in bonds, REITs, custodianships, and collective investment schemes. Key Performance Objectives

  • Client Engagement and Compliance Mastery

  • Strategic Client Relationships and Market Expansion
    • Devise a strategy for expanding market share in Islamic trust services.

Position Requirements:

  • Educational Background: Possess a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, or Professional Degree in Finance, Accountancy, Law, or Banking.
  • Relevant Experience: Prior experience in Trustee, Investment Bank, Finance, Unit Trust, Banking, or Debt Capital Markets is highly preferred. Demonstrated ability in trust operations, especially in bonds, REITs, custodianships, and collective investment schemes in Malaysia and Singapore.
  • Professional Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, adept at presenting information clearly. Proven track record of professionalism and integrity in client interactions.
  • Personal Attributes and Abilities: Resourceful with a proactive problem-solving approach. Committed to achieving company goals, strong organizational skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Desirable Traits: Understanding of the regulatory environment in Malaysia and Singapore related to trust and investments. Adaptability to changes and managing multiple priorities in a dynamic setting.
