JOB TITLE: SENIOR SALES EXECUTIVE

ORG UNIT NAME: Fulfillment & Marketing

LOCATION: MALAYSIA

JOB PURPOSE

Responsible for achieving sales targets in a specified geographic area by effectively managing sales channels. Key Accounts Management to ensure sustainable growth from short to long term. Ensure accurate demand forecasting across all customers and channels. Analyze competitor landscape in detail and develop growth strategies for the country. Lead quality issue resolutions for all customer concerns.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manage sales through channel distribution and key customers to meet operating plan and contribution margin.
  • Identify new opportunities for market share growth to achieve a 10% increase in Topline revenue from closed opportunities.
  • Oversee major accounts with high growth potential across sales regions, gather client needs and competitor insights, develop account management plans for key accounts, negotiate prices.
  • Understand and interpret complex material requirements of new customers/products/business opportunities, propose material solutions based on client needs and company capabilities.
  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers of the accounts, identify business prospects, and align internal resources to support sales.
  • Conduct industry analysis, identify new market/technology trends to enhance organizational sales and market share.
  • Support high-level cost estimation/budgeting through indicative quotation submissions.
  • Comprehend regional competitors, growth potentials, and development paths of key accounts.
  • Serve as a liaison between customers, project teams, and internal departments to provide practical solutions for client needs.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCES REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration/engineering from a reputable university.
  • Minimum of 6 years of technical sales experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of Specialties Thermoplastics Experience.
  • Specialties Polymers experience required (e.g., PEI, PPA, PPSU, PES, PEEK, PPS, LCP, PPE, Copolymer PC, Compounding polymers).
  • Strong business acumen, account management skills, daily operational commercial skills, project management expertise, good knowledge of the market (plastics), and products.
  • Effective communication skills with customers and internal teams.
  • Result-oriented mindset, adept at execution, exploring new business opportunities, and establishing effective strategic customer relationships.
