Requirements:

  • Required language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia
    OR Mandarin
  • At least
    2 Years of experience in sales or business development roles, demonstrating a successful track record of meeting or exceeding sales target
  • Required Skill(s): Analytical Skills, Industry Knowledge, Sales & Marketing Skills, Problem-Solving, Networking Abilities, Strategic Thinking, Cost Consciousness, Adaptability, Negotiation & Communication Skills.
  • Negotiate terms and conditions of licensing agreements with partners, ensuring they align with company objectives
  • Draft, review, and manage contracts and agreements with licensees, including renewals, amendments and terminations
  • Conduct market research to identify licensing opportunities and potential partners that align with the company's brand and strategic goals
  • Develop and implement licensing strategies to expand the brand into new markets or product categories, maximizing revenue and brand exposure
  • Identify and evaluate potential licensing partners, assessing their market position, compatibility with the brand and ability to meet contractual obligations
  • Establish and maintain relationships with current and potential licensing partners, ensuring clear communication and alignment of goals
  • Monitor licensee activities to ensure compliance with licensing agreements, including brand guidelines, quality standards, and financial obligations
  • Work with licensees to resolve any issues related to compliance or performance, implementing corrective actions as necessary
  • Oversee financial aspects of licensing agreements, including royalty payments, reporting and performance metrics
  • Analyze financial data related to licensing agreements to assess their profitability and impact on overall business performance
  • Ensure that all licensed products and services maintain the integrity of the brand, meeting established quality and branding guidelines
  • Collaborate with various internal departments, including legal, finance, marketing and product development, to ensure cohesive licensing operations and strategies
  • Provide support and guidance to marketing and sales teams in promoting licensed products and partnerships
  • Prepare and present reports on licensing activities, performance, market trends, and strategic opportunities to senior management
  • Stay informed about market trends, consumer preferences, legal and regulatory changes affecting licensing agreements and intellectual property rights
