The Role:
Sales Consultant


Key Responsibilities:

1.

Identify New Business Opportunities:


  • Conduct market research to identify potential clients and industry trends.
  • Develop and implement strategies to expand the company's customer base and market presence.
  • Generate leads through networking, cold calling, and other business development activities.

2.

Consultative Selling:


  • Engage with prospective clients to understand their needs and pain points.
  • Present and demonstrate the value of our products/services tailored to client requirements.
  • Develop customized proposals and solutions that address client challenges and objectives.

3.

Client Relationship Management:


  • Build and maintain longterm relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients, addressing their needs and resolving any issues promptly.
  • Conduct regular followups and reviews with clients to assess their ongoing needs and satisfaction.

4.

Sales and Revenue Growth:


  • Meet and exceed sales targets and performance metrics.
  • Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses to management.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create and execute effective sales campaigns and initiatives.

5. Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with internal teams, including training content development, marketing, and customer support, to ensure a seamless client experience.
  • Provide feedback and insights from the field to help improve talent management and learning solutions, training programmes, services, and sales processes.

6.

Continuous Improvement and Learning:


  • Stay updated with industry trends, competitive landscape, and best practices in consultative selling, talent management, and learning solutions.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge relevant to the role.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related role, preferably in the corporate training industry, talent management, and learning & development field.
  • Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and execute methodically.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities.
  • Selfmotivated with a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing opportunities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Proficiency in both English and Mandarin.
