Role Description
This is a contract remote role for a Content Moderator - Urdu Speaker. As a Content Moderator, you will be responsible for reviewing and moderating user-generated content on various digital platforms. You will ensure that the content complies with the company's guidelines and policies, and takes appropriate action when necessary. This role requires strong attention to detail, cultural sensitivity, and language proficiency in Indonesian.

Monday to Sunday

Working hours: 24/7 rotational shift (8 hours working shift + 1 hour break)

Salary:
RM4,000 (basic) + RM 200 Housing + RM 350 (shift allowance) + RM 300 KPI Allowance

Qualifications

  • Fluency in both written and spoken Urdu
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and make decisions in a fastpaced environment
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain high quality and accuracy
  • Experience in content moderation or a related field is a plus
  • Flexible schedule to accommodate varying workloads and peak hours
  • Ability to handle sensitive and potentially disturbing content with professionalism and empathy
  • Strong computer literacy and familiarity with digital platforms and social media

Responsibility

  • Review content (Text/Image) and conduct the content quality control, ensuring the content complies with Content Moderation Guidelines (For example slurs, cuss words, adult content and uncivil content)
  • Become and remain knowledgeable about online community standards ∙ Thoroughly check content with quality and accuracy
  • Approve or disapprove new and changed submissions based on the Moderation Guidelines
  • In the context of this role, individuals will be exposed to potentially disturbing content and will need a level of resilience and maturity
  • Understanding client policies and guidelines, and making decisions based on them.
  • Demonstrated creative problemsolving approach and strong analytical skills despite the ambiguity of workflows or instructions
  • Proven ability to balance multiple priorities and strong attention to detail
  • Conducting secondary web research to know what users are searching on Google so that relevant information can be provided.
  • Creative writing, consistent format and citations
  • To do Peer audits as a part of the process model and also to assist in training as per need
  • All KPI related tasks must be followed & adhered to avoid business impact
