ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for managing the documentation and records regarding Halal (ingredient's Halal certificate)
  • Verify documents and activities related to Halal Certification.
  • Setting up HALAL SOP and HALAL manual and reviewing from time to time to ensure information is up to date.
  • Key personnel in Food Safety Team and Halal Committee and its initiatives.
  • Establish Halal Assurance Systems (HAS) and Internal Halal Committee (IHC)
  • To Lead in HALAL internal and external audit.
  • Identify training needs, organize, and conduct training to meet halal, quality, and food safety standards.
  • To keep abreast of current legislations, standards and guidance documents for Malaysia and exporting country.
  • To review product registration dossiers & labelling to ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements.
  • To support, participate and followup on external and internal audit and audit report.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree / Diploma in Food Science and Technology & any field relevant to industry.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Effective problem solving and research skills.
  • Willing take initiative, drive, and commitment work independently with mínimal supervision.
  • Good interpersonal skills, problem solving skills.

ADDITIONAL NOTES

  • Applicants must be willing to work in Gombak, Selangor.
  • Own transport required

Salary:
RM2, RM2,500.00 per month
