SALARY RANGE: RM 5700 to RM 7200

The Role:

Based in Kuala Lumpur (MY), The Assistant Manager, Interline Operations, ensures the efficient planning and optimization of interline operations. This role involves strategic planning, managing partner relationships, and aligning operational efforts to achieve seamless integration and success.

Key Responsibilities and Competencies:

  1. Operational Excellence: Manage interline bookings and ensure space approval with partner airlines while streamlining processes for efficiency and compliance. Track key metrics and use data-driven insights to enhance performance.
  2. Operational Planning: Collaborate with the planning team to develop efficient cargo procedures and align operations with business objectives.
  3. Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with interline partners, including senior executives, and work with cross-functional teams to ensure integrated operations.
  4. Systems Management: Develop automated data transfers (EDI messaging) to reduce email communications and ensure contract compliance, taking corrective actions as needed.

Requirements:

  2. Analytical Abilities: Strong analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
  3. Leadership Potential: Demonstrated ability to lead projects or teams, with a focus on achieving results.
  4. Problem-Solving: Proven problem-solving skills and adaptability in dynamic environments.

Qualification And Experience:

  1. Bachelor's Degree: Preferable in Business, Aviation Management, or a related field.
  2. Experience: 5-6 years in airline operations, partnerships, or similar roles.
