Supplier Quality Engineer

We are currently looking to hire Supplier Quality Engineers (I/II/Senior) to work across various Plexus Sites.

  • Responsible as the key liaison between operations, suppliers, and customers to ensure that all purchased products meet specifications, quality standards, and expectations.
  • Define audits and surveys to confirm suppliers meet business requirements and quality standards.
  • Execute supplier audit activities for quality management.
  • Manage supplier performance and development.
  • Assist in monitoring supplier quality metrics and performance, as well as supporting corrective actions and continuous improvements.
  • Collaborate with Site Operations on supplier-related activities, including incoming inspection and problem resolution.
  • Facilitate communication with suppliers regarding cost-recovery requirements for non-conforming parts.
  • Support alternative supplier selection and customer-facing quality activities.
  • Provide assistance to the site regarding the Quality Management System and support overall system through metrics and auditing.
  • Responsible for providing engineering support in Quality Assurance areas.
  • Manage suppliers, act as the primary contact between Plexus and suppliers, and oversee corrective actions and deviation approvals.
  • Implement and maintain supplier rating systems, conduct supplier audits, and handle incoming materials FA requests.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • Degree in Engineering with a minimum of 2 years of related work experience.
  • Background in electronic components is an added advantage.
  • Strong problem-solving and failure analysis skills.
  • Ability to interpret data and charts effectively.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
