Responsibilities: 1. Menu Development:- Innovate and create new menu items, specials, and seasonal dishes.
- Ensure all menu items are prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, including preparation, cooking, and plating.
- Manage kitchen staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and conducting performance evaluations.
- Maintain inventory, order supplies, and manage food costs to meet financial targets.
- Ensure all dishes adhere to the restaurant's standards for taste, texture, and presentation.
- Conduct regular tastings and inspections to uphold quality control.
- Ensure compliance with all food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
- Implement and oversee health and safety policies and procedures.
- Engage with customers to gather feedback and implement improvements.
- Address customer complaints or concerns regarding food quality promptly and professionally.
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef in a similar establishment, with significant experience in a centralized kitchen environment.
- Culinary degree or equivalent professional training.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Exceptional creativity and culinary expertise, particularly in large-scale food production.
- In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices, especially within a centralized kitchen setting.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, capable of managing multiple production lines simultaneously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
