Adcote Matrix International School (AMIS) is an established international school, located in Seremban, Malaysia. The school is approximately 45 minutes away from the capital city of Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur. We offer a broad and innovative curriculum from Early Years to IGCSE, based on a combination of the International Primary Curriculum (IPC), Cambridge International Curriculum and the National Curriculum for England and Wales.

We require a Head of Sixth Form to lead the growth of our post sixteen provision at Pre-A and A level. The ideal candidate will be fully familiar with A Level provision including enrichment, university careers guidance and application process. This is an exciting opportunity to develop this new and ambitious programme. We require a well qualified teacher who will have a teaching commitment. The post is required for January or April 2025 or earlier.

We are seeking professionals who:


• are UK-trained or equivalent (PGCE or QTS) and has relevant experience of the Cambridge International curriculum and National Curriculum for England and Wales;


• have at least three years of experience in sixth form management in a secondary school and is registered with the Department of Education (DfE) or equivalent;


• have up-to-date knowledge on the Cambridge International curriculum and National Curriculum for England, Wales, as well as understanding university application;


• have high expectations of learners with appropriate inspiration and challenge;


• encourage and contribute to a well-organised and inspiring learning environment;


• experience of integrating technology into learning and teaching;


• have a growth mindset to all aspects of school life;


• passionate and willing to go above and beyond for the school community.
