Job Scope

Perform day-to-day finance operations like General Ledger, Bank Reconciliation and Account Payable functions.
Monitor, control and resolve creditors' ledger in any outstanding payables and inherited problems on due outstanding.
Prepare payment vouchers, petty cash vouchers, and accounts payable & maintain copies of payment vouchers, invoices, correspondences, and other financial documents.
Ensure proper filing of all documents and ensure they are accurately prepared on a timely basis and adhere to accounting standards.
To liaise with external auditor, tax consultant and appointed financial consultant.
Collaboration with internal cross-functions personnel to resolve issues and discrepancies.
Submission of monthly / weekly accounting reports, accounts analysis like debtor ageing report, cash flow analysis variance report etc.
Perform any ad-hoc tasks and responsibilities that the superior may assign from time to time

Requirements

Possess Languages - English, Bahasa Malaysia & Mandarin (Candidates fluent in Mandarin preferred as role requires candidate to deal with Mandarin-speaking suppliers.)
Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree Accountancy or equivalent.
Able to work independently, committed and meet deadlines.
Positive working attitude and strong sense of responsibility.
Good personality and positive working attitudes, responsible, self-discipline and dedicate to work.
Good communication skills.
Preferably candidates who are able to start immediately or within short notice.
Working hour: Monday-Friday (8:00am-5.00pm)
Candidates must be willing to work at Laksamana Cheng Ho, Melaka.
