The Position

Who You Are:

Responsibilities:

  • Managing AP documents processing, including validation, PO and non-PO invoices handling, prepayments, etc.
  • Reviewing supplier open items and executing payments via checks, wire transfers, and ACH transactions.
  • Investigating and resolving unsuccessful payments, performing month-end activities, and preparing various operational reports.
  • Reconciling AP balance sheet accounts, clearing aged items, and managing supplier statement of account reconciliation.
  • Handling internal and external queries, building vendor relations, and participating in compliance audits.
  • Initiating process improvements, supporting project implementation, and assisting with system integration and testing.
  • Verifying MDGS data and participating in process improvement projects.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Ensuring timely and accurate processing of suppliers and intercompany invoices.
  • Ensuring on-time payment of suppliers’ invoices and intercompany invoices.
  • Updating work documentation, ensuring compliance, and meeting service timelines.
  • Ensuring timeliness and accuracy of AP month-end closing activities and addressing queries promptly.

The above job description encompasses the main duties of the position, and incumbents should adhere to additional instructions from their superiors.

Who You Are

Qualifications & Experience Required:

  • Holding a degree or diploma in Finance & Accounting/Commerce or equivalent.
  • Possessing good communication skills and proficiency in English.
  • Having at least 2 years of experience in transactional accounting teams, preferably in SAP or similar ERP systems.
  • Experience in shared services or business process outsourcing is a plus, along with 2 years of SAP accounts payable transaction experience.
