Job Description
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of projects, taking end-to-end ownership, and gaining insights into the scope of delivery.
  • Establish and maintain systems, procedures, and methodologies to meet required quality standards and service level agreements.
  • Take charge of critical incidents, coordinating with resolution parties, and facilitating effective communication between stakeholders, followed by post-incident reviews.
  • Be accountable for service delivery performance, meeting customer expectations, and driving future demand.
  • Recommend improvement methods, ensuring timely planning and implementation for service delivery enhancements.
  • Provide accurate and regular reports to management on service delivery performance and ongoing projects.
  • Lead a software engineering team, overseeing staff recruitment, performance assessment, training, and mentoring.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with customers.
  • Foster strong relationships with other teams (client servicing, creative, user experience, and product) and stakeholders to facilitate effective communication between departments.
  • Collaborate with technical partners to establish standards for software, infrastructure, and security.
  • Ensure projects and services comply with the latest RMIT, Outsourcing, and Security guidelines.
Job Requirements
  • Hold a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in computer science, information technology, or engineering.
  • Possess experience in dealing with 3rd party service providers.
  • Demonstrate solid organizational and project management skills.
  • Exhibit exceptional leadership skills with the ability to train and guide junior team members.
  • Showcase strong customer service and people management skills.
  • Have in-depth knowledge of escalation procedures, incident management, resource planning, and other disciplines related to service delivery, including ITIL principles.
  • Have a minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience in a similar role, or 7 years of experience in software development around enterprise and cloud environments.
  • Demonstrate solid problem-solving skills and the ability to efficiently manage and prioritize tasks.
  • Possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
