About the Company:
Our client is a publicly listed manufacturing company based in KK, Sabah. The role can be based either in KK, Sabah or Subang Jaya office.
About the Job:
- Develop and implement the financial strategy for the company, ensuring alignment with the strategic goals.
- Lead the financial planning and analysis process, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling for each industry segment.
- Identify and manage financial risks associated with the diverse portfolio, including market volatility, currency fluctuations, and economic conditions.
- Determine how to efficiently allocate capital among different business units, investment opportunities, and dividend policies to optimize shareholder value.
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in compliance with regulatory requirements and communicate financial results to shareholders, analysts, and stakeholders.
- Establish and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
- Led financial due diligence and evaluation of potential acquisitions, divestitures, and strategic partnerships within the diversified portfolio.
- Foster positive relationships with investors and analysts, providing transparency and communication regarding financial performance and strategic direction.
- Oversee cash management, working capital, and capital structure to ensure optimal liquidity and financing for diverse business operations.
- Develop and implement tax strategies that optimize the company's tax position and minimize tax liabilities within the confines of the law.
About the Manager/Team:
Reporting to the MD, he believes in delivering results with minimal supervision. You're supported by a team of +/- 10 people.
Skills & Experience Required:
- ACCA/CPA/Degree in Accounting with an MIA certification.
- Local Malaysian with a minimum of 3 years of finance leadership role in a publicly listed company.
- High level of integrity, dependable, results-oriented with a strong sense of urgency.
