JOB TITLE: PERSONAL FINANCIAL CONSULTANT (PFC)
Grade
Location: Branch
Reports To: Branch Manager
Other Reporting Relationship: Segment Manager
Subordinates
Job Purpose: Actively engage in promoting and selling core consumer products primarily to walk-in customers. The Personal Financial Consultant follows a consultative approach to recommend appropriate CIMB products to fulfill customer's financial needs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Sales Planning:
- Identifying and pursuing sales opportunities through various methods like networking, referrals, and participation in sales activities.
- Managing sales pipelines effectively by staying updated with product information and customer data.
- Sales Execution:
- Marketing and selling consumer products, understanding customer requirements, and ensuring timely execution of sales.
- Collaborating with the sales team to implement marketing strategies and ensure smooth processing of applications.
- Customer Relationship:
- Building and maintaining strong customer relationships by providing quality service, addressing feedback, and resolving issues promptly.
- Compliance:
- Managing portfolio risk exposure, ensuring compliance with bank policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
- Responding to compliance inquiries promptly.
- People Management:
- Promoting teamwork, sharing knowledge within the team, and maintaining a professional working environment.
- Adhering to high standards of professionalism and grooming.
- Engaging in Continuous Professional Development.

Qualifications
*Please note: Ideal qualifications for the position with some exceptions for internally promoted staff based on performance
1. University Degree (preferably in business or accounting) or Banking diploma with 3 years of relevant banking experience. Graduates and diploma holders should have a minimum of 4 credits in SPM.
Experience
2-3 years of banking, sales, or marketing experience is preferred. Fresh graduates may also be considered.
Education & Training (or equivalent)
Skills/Competencies
- Good networking skills, customer focus, proactive, and results-oriented.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia, proficiency in Mandarin is advantageous.
- Good business etiquette and image.
- Proficiency in computer skills, such as Microsoft Office.
