Role Summary:
Keeping track of financial transactions, preparing financial reports, reviewing financial statements, preparing accounting ledgers, and performing various other financial tasks.

Responsibilities:

  1. Manage and ensure quality in terms of accurate, completeness, and timeliness of operational tasks in performing daily activities of finance and accounting.
  2. Perform month-end activities within agreed SLA timeline.
  3. Advise function teams on payment proposal runs on a scheduled or urgent basis and ensure payment is executed timely.
  4. Review balance sheet aging on a monthly basis and advise necessary actions to be taken.
  5. Review GST/GTP/BNM related reports (if any).
  6. Manage and ensure quality in terms of accurate, completeness, and timeliness of the Cost & Controlling team in performing daily activities for the following Cost & Controlling processes by performing cost reconciliation through the preparation of costing reports and analysis.
  7. Review Monthly, quarterly, year-end, and Business Group financial reports including reports for group reporting, internal management reporting, statutory reporting, and RGM Management reporting, as prepared by the analysts/senior analysts.
  8. Manage and resolve issues raised by Business Groups.
  9. Manage and resolve issues and queries related to daily tasks and systems. Raise issues, where necessary, to RGM Common Services Centre's management with resolutions for improvement.
  10. Respond to compliance audits and audit queries.
  11. Manage ad-hoc requests from Business Groups.

Requirements:

  1. A degree in the related job field.
  2. At least 3 to 5 years of working exposure or experience in a similar role.
  3. Willing to relocate to the job location.
