This role is critical to ensuring the financial integrity and strategic financial management of the entities we support within our group.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting:
Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements,
ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with relevant regulations and
standards.
General Ledger Management:
Lead the maintenance and reconciliation of general
ledger accounts, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded and
classified.
Accounts Payable & Receivable:
Supervise the accounts payable and receivable
processes, ensuring efficient and timely operations.
Budgeting & Forecasting:
Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts,
providing strategic insights and analysis to support decision-making.
Audit Coordination:
Manage internal and external audits, ensuring timely and
accurate information is provided and implementing recommendations.
Process Improvement:
Identify and implement opportunities to enhance
accounting processes and systems, driving efficiency and best practices.
Compliance & Regulation:
Ensure the company remains compliant with changes in
accounting regulations and standards.
Mentorship:
Provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff, fostering
their professional development.
Collaboration:
Work closely with other departments and entities within the group
to support various financial initiatives and projects
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. ACCA, CPA
or equivalent certification is highly preferred.
Experience:
Preferably a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant accounting experience,
with at least 1 year in a supervisory or senior role, Experience in a shared services
or corporate environment is an added advantage.
Technical Skills:
Proficienct in accounting software and Microsoft Offic, particularly
Excel. Experience with ERP systems is a plus.
Analytical Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen
attention to detail.
Leadership:
Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and mentor a team.
Communication:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the
ability to convey complex financial information clearly and effectively.
Team Player:
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a
