Project Description

The Bank in Singapore is searching for a knowledgeable Senior Murex System Analyst to join the core Treasury IT team and provide support to the bank's treasury division for various financial products in multiple countries. This role is part of the Global Markets Programme - Risk Project using Murex v3, based in Kuala Lumpur but requiring interaction with users and stakeholders from different locations.

The system analyst's responsibilities involve delivering strategic projects and changes for the bank's treasury division, focusing on Murex - Risk related deliveries. The role includes gathering requirements, collaborating with vendors, and ensuring successful project deployment through user testing.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze user requirements and support test execution
  • Prepare functional specifications and work closely with the development team for functional changes
  • Collaborate effectively with project managers, developers, business users, and external vendors

Skills

Must Have

  • 6+ years experience in Murex Middle Office and Risk modules of Mx 3.3 platform
  • Proven experience in scalable financial transaction systems
  • Analytical and logical problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of various asset classes and trade lifecycles
  • Detailed understanding of Murex Front/Middle office and Risk modules
  • Experience in Middle Office requirement analysis for different asset classes
  • Ability to analyze product requirements and provide solutions
  • Prepare test cases based on user requirements
  • Experience with Simulation views configuration

Nice to Have

Experience in Value at Risk modules, Scenario generation, Historical VaR, Stress-testing, and PnL reporting is advantageous. Experience in MRAL reports, FRTB Risk Charge computation, SIMM Initial margin computation, and Murex 3.3 Architecture is beneficial. Knowledge in Regulatory reporting is also a plus.
