Procurement Manager

Join Prudential, a leading global financial services company, as a Procurement Manager and play a key role in driving business growth and success.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to lead and manage the company-wide vendor master data setup, non-catalogue purchase requisition (PR), PO Management, and drive catalogue utilization and management. You will be responsible for monitoring and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) and providing monthly cadence to relevant stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day procurement operations and support new initiatives and project migrations.
  • Lead a team of transactional buyers and ensure sufficient resources allocation for ongoing day-to-day operations.
  • Deploy purchasing and non-purchasing levers to drive business growth.
  • Support other buyers in consolidated negotiations and supplier management actions.
  • Accountable for consolidated purchasing performance and conduct procurement-related trainings and guidance.
  • Ensure individual and team KPIs based on SLAs are met and track and ownership of team performance.
  • Prepare performance dashboards for the LBUs and support the development of Procurement policies and procedures.
  • Manage business processes in accordance with internal control, policies, and procedures.
  • Oversee procurement processes and SOPs on Procurement Operations and ensure SOPs are reviewed and updated timely.
  • Act as the key coordinator and support audit activities conducted by internal and external auditors.
  • Identify deficiencies or improvements required in the procurement processes and propose corrective actions or improvement plans.
  • Conduct procurement training to internal and external stakeholders on Coupa Core and CSP.
  • Support ad-hoc projects assignments and continuous improvement activities to streamline and improve operational procedures.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or Purchasing or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of working experience in procurement operations.
  • At least 1-2 years of people management experience.
  • Experience in a global or shared services environment providing procurement-related services is an added advantage.

Special Skills or Business Knowledge:

  • Proficiency in any Procurement/ERP systems preferably Coupa System.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites and Analytics skills.
  • Strong understanding of procurement, business processes, and systems.
  • Ability to develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
