About The Role

The Manager, Human Capital will be responsible for providing support on talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation & benefits administration, payroll, learning & development, performance management and culture transformation programs.

You will also be required to provide HR consultancy services to the business leaders/employees on matters relating to employment law, labor regulations, company policies, practices and procedures, including salary and bonus reviews.

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

  1. Partner with Business Leaders to understand business needs, develop strategies and implement initiatives to drive results.
  2. Support hiring managers with recruitment efforts, ensuring efficient process is followed and providing guidance as needed.
  3. Provide advice, counsel and coaching to employees on people-related issues such as workplace conflicts, performance concerns and other personnel matters.
  4. Collaborate with the regional Talent Acquisition Team to execute end-to-end recruitment processes for open roles in Malaysia.
  5. Develop and manage relationships with internal clients, external vendors and agencies, and third party service providers.
  6. Manage, administer and communicate HR related policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local laws and corporate requirements.
  7. Coordinate and conduct orientation sessions for new hires, and provide information regarding various programs and resources available to them.
  8. Support various projects and initiatives, including onboarding, offboarding, training, engagement, diversity and inclusion, and culture transformation programs.
  9. Work closely with regional and global counterparts to align goals, objectives, policies, and practices.
  10. Actively participate in Regional/Global HR Community of Practice calls, meetings, and events.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in business or human resources or equivalent experience preferred.
  • At least 10 years of relevant experience in a multi-national organization.
  • Experience working in an HR Generalist role.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Malaysia employment laws, regulations and labor relations.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with all levels of management and staff.
  • Ability to influence others through strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
