We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Investment Analyst to join our team. The role requires expertise in evaluating investment opportunities, particularly in startups and accelerator programmes. The ideal candidate will excel at conducting financial analysis, preparing investment documentation, and supporting the entire investment lifecycle, from due diligence to portfolio management.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Evaluate pitch decks and assess startup investment opportunities.
  2. Conduct meetings with startup founders to gather insights and evaluate potential investments.
  3. Prepare investment-related documents and agreements.
  4. Perform share cap calculations and assist with deal structuring.
  5. Coordinate Investment Committee (IC) meetings and prepare investment memos.
  6. Conduct comprehensive due diligence and maintain accurate investment databases and valuation records.

Accelerator Programs

  1. Evaluate and screen applications for accelerator programs.
  2. Perform share cap calculations for startups entering accelerator programmes.
  3. Conduct due diligence and support investment processes for investments in accelerator programmes.
  4. Update and manage investment databases and valuation records for programme participants.

Market Research and Analysis

  1. Conduct market research to identify trends, risks, and opportunities within target industries.
  2. Analyze financial data, economic conditions, and company performance metrics.
  3. Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and recommendations for investment opportunities.
  4. Monitor the performance of portfolio investments and provide regular updates.
  5. Assist in managing exit strategies, including valuations and stakeholder communications.
  6. Prepare Investor Reports twice a year.

Stakeholder Engagement

  1. Collaborate with internal teams, founders, legal advisors, and external stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of investment processes.
  2. Build and maintain strong relationships with startups, accelerator participants, and ecosystem partners.
Job Requirements

Qualifications and Skills

  1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
  2. 1–3 years of experience in venture capital, private equity, investment banking, or a related field.
  3. Strong understanding of startups, angel funding, and accelerator programs.
  4. Proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and cap table management.
  5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail.
  6. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
  7. Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial software tools.
