Job Description – Cafe Supervisor/ Operations Manager

Position Type: Full-Time (6 Days/Week)
Working Hours: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM or 2:00 PM – 10:10 PM (Rotational Shifts)
Off Day: Monday

Job Summary

We are looking for passionate and energetic Café Crew members to join our team Whether you enjoy serving customers, preparing food and drinks, or keeping things organized, there's a place for you here.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Store Management

  1. Oversee the daily operations of Kohi Gelato, ensuring efficiency and smooth workflow.
  2. Monitor and manage inventory levels, placing orders for ingredients and supplies as needed.
  3. Ensure adherence to health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
  4. Handle equipment maintenance and troubleshoot minor technical issues.
  5. Lead, train, and supervise a team of baristas, kitchen staff, and service crew.
  6. Assign tasks and ensure all staff members perform their roles effectively.
  7. Conduct training sessions for new hires and ongoing coaching for existing staff.
  8. Foster a positive and motivated work environment.

Customer Service & Brand Representation

  1. Ensure excellent customer service and handle customer complaints professionally.
  2. Maintain a welcoming atmosphere and uphold Kohi Gelato's brand values.
  3. Assist in marketing initiatives such as promotions and social media engagement.
  4. Monitor daily sales and ensure accurate cash handling and POS system management.
  5. Work towards achieving sales targets and suggest ways to improve revenue.
  6. Manage operational costs and control wastage to maximize profitability.

Required Experience & Qualifications:

  1. Minimum 2-3 years of experience in F&B or retail, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
  2. Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  3. Experience in cafe or dessert shop operations is a plus.
  4. Knowledge of POS systems, inventory management, and cash handling.
  5. Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and manage a team effectively.
  6. Basic knowledge of coffee-making, gelato, and food preparation is preferred.
  7. Familiarity with health and safety regulations in F&B.
