Executive Assistant/ PR/ Marketing Officer

About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated and adaptable Executive Assistant & Business Development Coordinator to support the Owner and assist with business operations and growth. This role is ideal for a proactive individual looking to grow into a leadership position. The successful candidate will receive direct training from senior leadership and gain valuable insights into business management, strategy, and operations.

What you'll be doing

  • Providing executive-level administrative support to the management team, including calendar management, travel arrangements, and meeting coordination.
  • Developing and implementing effective public relations strategies to raise the company's profile and enhance our brand reputation.
  • Crafting compelling marketing content, including press releases, social media posts, and other promotional materials.
  • Organizing and coordinating various corporate events, such as product launches, press conferences, and industry networking sessions.
  • Analyzing market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities for the business.
  • Assisting with the management of our company website and digital marketing channels.
  • Providing support to the wider marketing and communications team as needed.
  • Managing and organizing the employer's schedule, meetings, and travel arrangements.
  • Handling confidential communications and sensitive information with professionalism.
  • Preparing reports, presentations, and internal communications.
  • Serving as the point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Identifying and developing new business opportunities through networking and cold calls.
  • Arranging and conducting customer visits, including travel as required.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with potential and existing clients.
  • Supporting business decision-making through research and analysis.
  • Monitoring progress of business initiatives and reporting on key performance metrics.
  • Liaising with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution of tasks.
  • Learning new technical knowledge relevant to the business.
  • Assisting in organizing marketing campaigns and events.
  • Helping maintain strong relationships with partners, clients, and media.
  • Drafting communication materials such as press releases and reports.
  • Supporting digital marketing initiatives – managing social media, SEO, and online presence (preferred).
  • Developing and implementing effective sales strategies tailored to the manufacturing industry, including identifying target markets, understanding customer needs, and creating compelling sales pitches.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, understanding their specific needs and providing expert advice to help them achieve their sales goals.
  • Possessing in-depth knowledge of manufacturing products and processes, enabling effective demonstration of value and addressing customer concerns.
  • Analyzing and optimizing sales processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness, including lead generation, sales cycle management, and closing deals.
  • Conducting market research to identify emerging trends, competitive landscapes, and potential sales opportunities.
  • Providing expert advice and guidance to clients on a range of sales-related issues, including pricing, negotiation, and sales team development.
  • Preparing and analyzing sales reports to track performance, identify areas for improvement, and measure the effectiveness of implemented strategies.
  • Possessing strong communication and presentation skills to effectively convey information, build rapport, and influence decision-makers.
  • Identifying problems, analyzing data, and developing creative solutions to address challenges and improve sales performance.
  • Negotiating prices, terms, and contracts effectively to secure deals and maximize profitability.
  • Having a strong understanding of the manufacturing industry, including its challenges, opportunities, and best practices.
  • Developing and implementing strategies for sales in an assigned region or industry.
  • Applying knowledge of the field and product features to match products to the needs of clients.
  • Answering inquiries from clients concerning products, their uses, and the industry at large.

What we're looking for

  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar Executive Assistant/PR/Marketing role, preferably within the technology or manufacturing sector.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Recent graduates or candidates with 1–3 years of experience are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and proofreading.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office suite and various digital marketing tools.
  • Creative and innovative mindset, with the ability to develop and execute compelling marketing campaigns.
  • Familiarity with public relations best practices and experience in media relations.

Experience:

  • No prior managerial experience required, but any business-related exposure is a plus.
  • Experience in executive support, business coordination, or administrative roles is preferred.

Skills:

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High emotional intelligence and ability to handle pressure.
  • Analytical mindset with problem-solving ability.
  • Knowledge in digital marketing (SEO, social media, online campaigns) is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and business communication tools.
