Job Description:

  • Project Management:
    • Assist project managers in coordinating, supervising, managing, reporting, timelines, budgeting, and resource allocation for solar projects.
    • As a developer's or owner's representative to coordinate and manage all on-site activities, liaison with relevant authorities, vendors and stakeholders.
  • Documentations and Reporting:
    • Maintain accurate records of project budgets, expenses, and timelines.
    • Produce, compile and maintain accordingly accurate records of project documentations and paper works. Documentation is not limited to reports, contractual documentations, permits, correspondences, forms, inventories, final project deliverables and other relevant documents and administrative works.
    • Prepare, compile and maintain accordingly project documentations for regulatory compliances and future operation and maintenances.
    • Provide post-installation support and troubleshooting as needed.
  • Project Oversight:
    • Coordinate, manage and supervise on-site activities during the project implementations phase, i.e installation of solar panels, construction works and all associated systems, utilities and facilities.
    • Ensure that constructions and installations are being performed according to engineering specifications and safety standards.
  • Technical Support & Quality Assurance:
    • As a developer's or owner's representative in checking, verifying, providing and participating in technical guidance and support to project teams, vendors and necessary stakeholders.
    • To participate in troubleshooting and resolving any technical issues that arise during the project period.
    • Monitor the quality of materials and workmanship to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
    • Conduct all required quality assurance checks, inspections and testing on solar and all related construction works before and after installations.
    • Ensure all projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
    • Implement safety protocols and best practices on-site.
  • Authorities Interaction:
    • Interface with authorities to understand their requirements and provide updates on project status.
    • Assist in the coordination works, follow ups and support the vendors and stakeholders with relevant authorities matters.
  • Others:
    • Participate in safety and compliances, operational and technical audits / assessments, reports, inspections and implementations accordingly.
    • Attend to issues raised by internal stakeholders (i.e. Upstream, R&D, Engineering) concerning the project and related areas.
    • Analyze energy production forecasts and system performance data.
    • Utilize software tools for modeling and simulation of solar systems.
    • Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and regulations.
    • Execute any other tasks deemed appropriate and relevant to the business activities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field.
  • Experience in large scale solar plant operation and maintenance is an added advantage.
  • Minimum 2 years of working experience in large scale solar project, engineering, renewable energy and related project environment.
