As Team Lead, you will play a pivotal role in driving this growth, enabling businesses across diverse industries to thrive with Qashier's cutting-edge, comprehensive business ecosystem by:
- Driving targeted merchant acquisition campaigns to onboard high-potential businesses across retail, F&B, beauty, services, and events, delivering tailored solutions through QashierPOS, QashierPay, and Treats loyalty.
- Focusing on scalable partnerships and driving strategic referrals.
- Leading your team to leverage data-driven insights to identify new growth opportunities. With these strategic pillars, you will be instrumental in shaping Qashier's dominance in the smart POS, Payment and Loyalty solutions space in Malaysia.
- Drive Growth: Lead the team to achieve and surpass monthly, quarterly, and annual merchant acquisition targets for Qashier's complete suite of solutions -QashierPOS, QashierPay, and Treats loyalty. Your leadership will be pivotal in shaping our growth strategy, with both team and individual contributions driving our success.
- Relentless in Achieving Goals: Consistently achieving targets is crucial, even if it means stepping up as an individual contributor and going the extra mile to deliver outstanding results.
- Lead a Winning Team: Oversee and inspire a team of Business Development Executives (Qashier POS & QashierPay Teams). Set clear goals, monitor performance, and implement plans to enhance team effectiveness and skillsets. Team success is your success.
- Strategic Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Operations, Finance, and more to develop and execute merchant acquisition strategies in line with our 2025 goals.
- Build Relationships: Establish and maintain strong partnerships with merchants, driving referrals and supporting the team in closing deals.
- Leadership Skills: Proven experience leading and managing sales teams with a strong track record of achieving targets.
- Independent Self-Starter: Take charge of launching operations in a new city with a hands-on approach, demonstrating initiative and ownership from the ground up.

- Experience: Minimum 5 years of proven experience in B2B sales, business development, or merchant acquisition, with at least 2 years in a leadership or team management role. Prior experience in POS, payment solutions, or retail technology is highly preferred.
- Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the retail, F&B, beauty, and payments landscape in Malaysia, including market trends, competitive dynamics, and customer needs.
- Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to address challenges and propose actionable solutions.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is required. Equivalent practical experience may be considered.
- Tech Savvy: Familiarity with CRM tools, sales enablement platforms, and an understanding of technology-driven business solutions.
- Flexibility: Willingness to travel locally for merchant acquisition and team supervision as needed.
