Marketing Manager

The company started as a roadside Chendul stall in Penang in the year 1936 and has now grown to own more than 20 retail outlets all over Malaysia.

Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to promote products and services in the Food and Beverage industry.
  2. Conduct market research to identify consumer trends, competitive analysis, and market opportunities.
  3. Define target market segments and develop customer profiles to guide marketing efforts.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create compelling and impactful marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, social media, print, and events.
  5. Oversee the production of marketing materials, including brochures, website content, advertising materials, and press releases.
  6. Monitor and analyse marketing campaign performance, and provide regular reports and recommendations to management.
  7. Manage and allocate the marketing budget effectively to maximize ROI.
  8. Maintain strong relationships with external partners, agencies, and vendors to ensure timely and high-quality deliverables.
  9. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, and propose innovative marketing initiatives.
  10. Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing marketing team.
  11. Perform any other tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
  1. Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or equivalent.
  2. Proven experience as a Marketing Manager in the Food and Beverage industry.
  3. Solid understanding of marketing principles, consumer behaviour, and market dynamics in the Food and Beverage industry.
  4. Demonstrated success in developing and implementing marketing strategies that drive brand awareness and increase sales.
  5. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, track KPIs, and make data-driven decisions.
  6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  7. Creative thinker with a keen eye for detail and the ability to generate innovative ideas.
  8. Strong leadership and people management skills.
  9. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  10. Languages: English, Bahasa Malaysia, Chinese (added advantage).
  11. Willing to work in Seksyen U8, Shah Alam, Selangor.
  12. Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 9.00am to 6.00pm.
