This growth oriented position will have the primary responsibility of providing the full range of fund administration services to real estate clients. This individual will be responsible for understanding and applying current accounting principles to the accounting and financial reporting of funds and for reviewing transaction and valuation information. A partial list of responsibilities includes:

  1. Preparation and Review of Net Asset Value calculation and reporting
  2. Coordinate investor servicing activities, including investor on-boarding, capital calls, distributions, and other investor reporting
  3. Maintain a working understanding of fund documentation(s) and apply the terms to the financial reporting and the income and expense allocations
  4. Maintain a working knowledge of current accounting principles and develop solutions for issues
  5. Preparation and review of financial statements and footnotes for audit purposes
  6. Liaise with banks, auditors, brokers, and custodians to ensure smooth service delivery to clients and timely completion of deliverables
  7. Involved in new funds on-boarding process
  8. Primary contact to clients on daily operational issues, discussions, and any other requests
  9. Resolve issues/queries raised by clients in a timely manner and maintain a high level of client satisfaction
  10. Identify and highlight opportunities for internal process improvement and increase operational efficiency
  11. Assist team manager in managing day-to-day operations
  12. Participate in company and client initiatives outside of normal deliverables and responsibilities
  13. Perform other duties as assigned and incidental to the work described above

Minimum Requirements:

  1. Relevant years of experience within progressive accounting/audit/fund administration experience in private equity and real estate
  2. Strong computer skills with strength in Microsoft Office products; proficiency with Microsoft Excel is particularly an asset
  3. Strong knowledge in IFRS, US GAAP, and Singapore GAAP
  4. Experience with accounting software: Investran and Geneva would be an advantage
  5. Knowledge in group consolidations is required
