Partner Development Specialist core role is to manage and grow a set of pre-determined partners as approved by the country and regional leadership that does not overlap with any Partner Account Managers with the intention to provide a point of contact to partner and to achieve the below:
- Channel Revenue Generation: Develop and execute strategies to drive revenue growth through channel ecosystem.
- Channel Partner Development: Foster strong relationships with existing channel partners. Engage in effective partner development activities, including partner onboarding, training, and continuous engagement.
- Pipeline Management: Manage the sales pipeline effectively, ensuring accurate forecasting and timely follow-up on leads and opportunities. Implement best practices for pipeline management and provide regular updates to senior management.
- Performance Metrics: Revenue growth, partner engagement, conversion rates, and partner satisfaction.
- Strategic Planning: Contribute to the development of channel strategies and tactics to drive revenue growth and partner expansion. Provide insights on market trends, competitive landscape, and partner feedback to inform strategic decision-making.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive developments to bring innovative ideas and approaches to the channel sales strategy. Continuously seek opportunities to enhance processes, tools, and methodologies.
Requirements:
- Local candidate with good Mandarin and English language proficiency
- Channel Partner Management: Proficiency in identifying and nurturing relationships with channel partners, distributors, resellers etc. Able to assess partner business priorities, needs, provide training and support, and ensure alignment with company goals.
- Sales and Negotiation Skills: Strong sales and negotiation with ability to close deals and meet or exceed sales targets. Proficiency in identifying potential upsell and cross sell opportunities.
- Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of data centre technologies, including server, storage, virtualization, networking, and cloud computing, to assist partners in product selection including upsells and cross sells.
- Market and Industry Knowledge: Stay up to date with trends and developments in the data centre and IT industry, including competitor offerings, market shifts, and emerging technologies.
- Candidate with experience in managing Singapore and Malaysia market will be an added advantage.
